Denny Schneider recognized that the Westside and the Valley had a common interest in working for a fair share of Los Angeles resources in early 2002. He got involved with the fight to better the quality of life for the San Fernando Valley and met with Richard Katz and Jeff Brain, then Valley Vote President. He became an organizer of support for Valley Vote on the Westside. His organization, Alliance for a Regional Solution to Airport Congestion, ARSAC held a town hall at LMU on July 23, 2002 with hundreds in attendance to publicize the secession issue. Starting in 2004 Denny started attending the monthly V.V. board meetings and in 2006 joined the Executive Board.

Denny has both technical and business degrees. His working career was as staff scientist and aerospace Programs Manager overseeing multi-million dollar programs. Concurrently, he and his wife built a 1000-person multilevel marketing organization as well as strong community involvement to improve everyone’s quality of life.

Community activities: President, Alliance for a Regional Solution to Airport Congestion (ARSAC); LAX Specific Plan Amendment Master Plan Review Committee Member ; Past President, Westchester Neighbors Association; Vice Chair, LAX-Community Noise Roundtable; Board member, Neighborhood Council Westchester-Playa, Executive Board member, Valley Vote; Member, DWP Integrated Resource Planning; Secretary, Republican Central Committee; active participant LAX-Coastal Chamber of Commerce, Asthma and Allergy Association, and South Bay Lincoln Club. State level awards include California PTSA, Kiwanis, and CA Air Force Association. He was also recognized by the Bush administration as a community volunteer of the year.
